I’ve been a ‘car guy’ since I can remember. As a kid, I read Hot Rod, Car Craft, Motor Trend and Road & Track. I grew up in the 1970s and 1980s, and the driveway contained (at one time or another) a 1964 Electra 2-door, a 1966 Corvair Monza coupe, my grandfather’s 1967 LTD hardtop. My cousin drove a 1972 Charger with a 340, and I was lucky enough to eventually drive a 1988 Mustang 5.0. I now cruise a 1976 Pontiac Grand Prix.
I enjoy reading about those wonderful old cars. I’ve have a small library of books about cars, and I’d like to offer my thoughts and share these wonderful books with you.
As I start this review blog, I will say that the books are from my personal collection of almost 50 titles. As yet, none of these books have been provided by publishers for review. These are all books I have personally acquired from collections or retail outlets, or received as gifts. The books themselves range from old, out-of-print finds to books you can find online or in stores today.
August 2020 Thank you to all those who have read this blog and left comments. I just wanted to say that it’s been challenging to keep a regular schedule of posts going. It’s been a combination of things, from everyday life intruding, to simply some books take a little longer than others to get through. I do appreciate your patience!
